Ruth and Family - so sorry to read of Lefty's passing. He and my dad went all the way back to Pfizer! I've heard many stories about Lefty. Such a great guy. Take care of yourself now.

Pops, you will be missed when the little ones are looking for someone to take them fishing in the canoe orbiting a hook at the point. What a warm loving legacy you have left.

Renaud Family memories of Poppi:
Erica (Parker) Renaud- (Granddaughter, daughter to Susan)-
I’ll try to keep it short, but there’s so much we will miss.
-I loved Poppi’s special study room. It had all those cool gadgets. We were only allowed to play with them on special occasions.
- I loved that he had a rocking chair in the kitchen. I don’t know anyone else who has ever had a rocking chair in their kitchen, but he would sit there frequently, joining in the conversation as he wanted and rocking.
- One summer he gave me his fishing pole because he had bought a new one. Just a day or two later he broke his new one on a huge fish. I felt terrible and ask my mom if I should give his old back to him she said, “No. He wanted you to have it.”
- One time when he and Grandma visited, I was walking with Pops around the neighborhood. I asked if he thought there was such thing as aliens. He said. no. There were so many things about the earth that made it just right, and just perfect for humans.
Mariele Renaud (Great-granddaughter) (8)-
I remember how much Poppi loved playing with children. I remember the smile on his face when he helped me throw a kite up in the air and the joy I felt whacking the ball he had just pitched to me.
Josiah Renaud (great grandson) (6)-
I like how he took of us when we first came in and gave us candies.
Lucy Renaud (great granddaughter) (13)-
-When I was seven GG and poppy threw me a birthday party in their backyard. Somebody made red velvet cake. I remember Poppi saying this is “Deee-licious.”
- When I think of Poppi I also can’t help but think of that red picnic table. Oh and his ship in a bottle! I didn’t know those actually existed until I saw his.
- When I was younger GG threw us a tea party. Poppy asked us if he could be a part of it and I said “no.” Poppy pretended to cry.
Kaylee Renaud (great granddaughter) (15)-
-My memories of Poppi are him looking out and admiring the birds. All those tons of birdfeeders were constantly filled with flapping wings and chirps.
- He also loved fishing. I was fascinated by his plethora of lures. He always brought worms from his garden for us to fish with at Hopeville.
