Ronald E. Braukhoff

August 2, 1934 - January 14, 2022

Ronald E. Braukhoff passed away January 14, 2022, at HopeWest Care Center.

He was born August 2, 1934, to Carl and Alice (Koch) Braukhoff in the Township of Auburn, Wisconsin. He graduated from high school in Woodstock, Illinois. Ron earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and spent his career in industry in the mid-west.

A man of great integrity, he stood firm is his beliefs and liked a good political discussion or finding a solution to an engineering problem.

He loved sailing his Catalina, riding his Honda, flying his Piper Colt and his German ancestry.

Ron was a caring and loving husband to Kay (Kathryn), father to Mark (Julie), Scott (Evie), Steven (Susie), and David (Kim), grandfather to Brian (Billie), Matt (Brianna), Nick (Taylor), Nate, Mikayla, and Kira (Brandon Brumitt), and great-grandfather to Forrest, Haisley, Lilly, Kathryn and Lukas, and good "dad" to his many Labs and Goldens.

He was predeceased by his parents and brother, John.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Wisconsin.

We would like thank the nurses at Foresight Center, Community Hospital and HopeWest for the care he was given.

Memorials may be made to HopeWest.
