We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Ron. Ron, thank you for leading the RNCIC for years. Thank you for letting us use your garage to fill goody bags for the Veterans Memorial 5K race year after year. Lynn, we are so sorry for your loss.

A great loss to this world! Ron was such a delight to know. He was proud of his family, military service and his home state of Wisconsin. He easily engaged others in his volunteerism: VA hospital, Military Officers Association and Regional National Cemetery Improvement Corporation. In his service of others he never forgot the most important people in his life and spoke so glowingly of them: his wife, Lynn and two children. My condolences to you. May God comfort you in your loss.

I will forever be indebted to Ron for his introducing me to MOAA. When I followed him as President in 2008, Ron was always right there helping me learn the ropes. I am also indebted to him for teaching me how to reload by giving personal instruction and my first Reloading Bible. I, as well as many others, will sincerely miss him. God Bless you and you family.

Colonel Ronald L Butler: from what I've read & what I've been told, you had an awesome life, adventures, hobbies, passions & lived long enough to see the youngest of five generations in your great-great granddaughters. These are very rare accomplishments for most & you accomplished them all. Thank you for your service & rest well, Sir.

Will always have very fond memories of Ronald Butler. A more "genuine" man I have never met. Always very gracious, patient, generous, dependable, and cheerful. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
