My Grandpa was Ronald Dean Clarke, he was the best thing in the world to me i loved him so so much he was like my best friend to me. After school we would always go to the park so i could throw some pitches to him, after when we had finished of the 2 hours we would go to his house i would do my homework and always eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and sometime nutella to. He would always give me and my little brothers wet willy's and always give us wet kisses and then after we would wipe it off he would say " hey i'm going to get you next time with a big and wetter one next time.

Missing you oh so much right now Gramps..Ikaika keeps asking for you to wake up and it breaks my heart. They say time heals everything but i don't ever see how at this point. Still hard to accept the fact that you're not here. I awake each day like it was a bad dream then reality hits... I only hope you come and visit us in our dreams soon... I love you sooo sooo much.

Dear Tess, Tami, and family -
I was so saddened last week to hear of the passing of Mr. Clarke. I only had the opportunity to play for him for a short while on the Tremor teams in 1982. He worked diligently to create opportunities to enhance our talent, and to show it off to the world. In that short summer and fall of 1982, he and his vision afforded me the opportunity to play in Las Cruces NM, Hawaii, and Taiwan. Always a fan of a great coach - I always knew he was one of the best. I am so happy that my path crossed with his - and so very sad for his passing. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Tess And family; I meet Ron at the Kettle Falls grade school play ground softball field in 1947. He was the strongest and fastest kid on the field. When teams were being picked you made sure that he pick you for his team, that is right it was his team.Ron was the Quarter/Running Back football, point guard basketball, catcher baseball.Ron was a student athlete, an A & B in the class room and a star athlete. Ron and I spent our first year in college together playing football and baseball at CBC. He was a significant part of my student life, I will miss Ron and my sympathy to you and family.

Ron taught many of us as an accomplished, determined, patient, competitive teammate and leader on the field and court in High school. Little wonder it evolved into an amazing record as a man, a teacher and a coach.

Ron touched so many young people's lives both as a teacher and coach. Described as "a grumpy old man", this man had a huge heart. His dedication to young people and his sport are unparalleled. His fundraising for those kids was as extraordinary as his teaching and coaching. We have lost a Super Star. He will be missed. Our deepest sympathy goes to his family and friends.
