My sympathy to Ron's family. My husband David A. Elkins worked back in the 70's and early 80's mainly in the New Kensington plant in management and for a few years in the Charlotte, N.C. plant in management. David passed away in 2002. He always enjoyed Ron's visits at the New Kensington Plant near Pittsburgh. So sorry of Ron's passing.

I'm sorry to hear about the passing of Ron. I just watched his episode of Undercover Boss and thought what a nice man. Also, the company I work for contracts with UniFirst and it was interesting to see what goes on at a plant.

I was the sales and location manager for a small but growing branch in Colorado. I had the pleasure and honor of briefing Ron our quarterly report at the Ontario, CA. plant. Ron struck a balance of warmth and professionalism. He truly perpetuated the team and family feel that his father, Aldo began many years ago. I am truly sadden at his passing.

To the Croatti family my condolences . Unifirst and I go back about 30 years with me supplying pocketing material to your manufacturing facilties from the Puerto Rico days to Mexico and Nicaragua from my company John Solomon Inc and QST Industries ad Fabri_Quilt. The company under Ron's direction was always good and very fair to me . I am sure you will always miss him as will all of us that were touched by him . I will always remember him walking by the waiting room and giving me a big smile and a hello and I would say to myself " their goes the UNDERCOVER BOSS" .

I will always continue to supply your company as faithfully and loyally as if Ron were still there

In my 12 years of working at Unifirst, I never heard a single negative thing about Mr. Croatti. One of the two or three smartest people I ever knew, it was always fun to interact with him at budget and management meetings. Unifirst has lost a visionary leader that will be impossible to replace. RIP Ron Croatti.
