Ronald Wayne Donley, 79, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Park Terrace Village. He was born March 28, 1938, in Detroit, MI to the late Louis Wayne and Aretta (Bean) Donley I.

He retired from Pitney Bowes, where he had worked as a service technician for 28 years, and served in the US Navy for four years. Ronald was a member of First Southern Baptist Church. He loved being a mechanic, fishing, and could fix just about everything. He also enjoyed drawing and painting.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patty Joyce (Gillenwater) Donley; son, Louis Wayne (Cyndi) Donley II; daughters, Ronda Will, Beth Ann (David) Lutz, and Lynette Sprowls; grandchildren, Kyle (Lezlie) and Kelsey Donley, Adam (Jessica) and Chad Will, Natalie Lutz, and Bryanna Sprowls; great-grandchildren, Londyn and Liam Hohl; sister, Starr Blalock; niece, Lisa Eury; nephews, Mike and Mark Blalock; and cousins, Jim and Daniel Bean.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, June 19, 2017, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. David Cullison and Rev. Donald Moore, with burial and military honors in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Hospice or First Southern Baptist Church Library Fund. Condolences may be made online at www.AlexanderEastChapel.com.
