Dear Char,

I was saddened to hear of Ron's passing. I still have the beautiful painting that he did of my Dad's antique car.

Dear Char,
You and Ron have been some of the nicest people Karl and I have met here in Harrington, DE. I'll never forget Indian poker or any of the other times we've spent together. I will continue to pray for strength for you and for happiness. I hope you like your new place in upstate NY. We will certainly miss both you and Ron. Please keep in touch. I've gained a good friend.
Love you Always

Dear Charlize:
Condolences to the Fazio Family.
You and Ron were best of friends. I remember the good times we had at the Vets Club thru the years. It's a long way from Moultrie, GA - remember the book that I delivered to you?
Peace be with you - just remember the good times. I hope to see you again someday.

Ron was a student in my husbands Social Studies class in Cooperstown. He would come to vist us often after his Marine Core career was over. What a fine youg man. Years later I taught with him At CVS.I can still see that BIG smile as he greeted my second graders. He made his mark down here and I'm sure he is doing the same with the heaven's above. He was a wonderful man. God Bless all of you in your sorrow. Paul and Barbara Lambert. Cooperstown NY

I referred to Ron as my favorite Marine. He was a good friend, and I missed him when you moved south, but now I am going to miss him even more. I enjoyed our Yatzee games at the American Legion, and all the drama that went with it.

He truly was a dedicated indvidual; to his family, his country, the American Legion, his students, those he coached, and his many friends.

Char, my condolences to you and the boys.

To the Fazio family we send our deepest condolences. I'm sure he would want everyone to celebrate his life rather than mourn his passing, so please raise your glasses to some wonderful memories you may have.

Mr. Fazio was an amazing art teacher. He had a way to make even the most untalented art student feel at ease in the art room. He respected all of his students and genuinely wanted to see his students succeed in whatever they wanted to create. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I want to express my heartfelt sympathy to all of Ronnie's family. We were classmates at Cooperstown Central School. I remember him so clearly: the easy laugh and smile, the endless drawings in the margins of his school notebooks (That should have been a tip off to his future career path.), and his phenomenal prowess in and love for sports. What a nice guy -- gone too soon.

My condolences to the Fazio family. Ron and I were Cooperstown high school classmates who spent time running back and forth between each others' houses after school. For some reason we addressed each other as "Gink." Then we'd laugh. I don't know what it meant, but I do remember it very well.
I'm happy to know he is well thought of. I will remember him as a very friendly and sincere person.
Peace.

I played baseball with Ron on the Cooperstown Central School team circa 1965. I played second base, and Ron played first. I can still see him making that wonderful stretch that only a lefty can make to take the throw, and that look of intense concentration on his face.

Ron had a great face-- wonderfully expressive. And nobody had a more infectious grin. When he laughed, you had to laugh, too.

And I remember the "Big Daddy Rat Fink" cartoons he used to draw. They were a perfect reflection of his happy-go-lucky personality. He must have been a great art teacher, someone who would really inspire kids.

Ron was a couple of years ahead of me, so I can't claim to have been a close friend. But I remember him fondly. He was a great guy, and a good influence.

My sincere sympathy to his family. I shall keep you and Ron in my prayers.
