Ronald Gettleman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Ronald Lee Gettleman, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and son. Married for 46 wonderful years to his wife Judi, nee Putterman, he lived a life defined by kindness, humor and love. A true mensch with an old soul, Ron was selfless in his care for others. His sharp wit and quick humor brought laughter to every room he entered.
Ron's greatest joy was his family. Carrying on his legacy of kindness and humor are his children Scott Gettleman, Ross Gettleman, Reed Gettleman, Wil Walker and Lauren Gettleman, nee Macklin. Ron cherished time with his grandchildren Oscar and Jonah. He took special care preparing their favorite meals, making their time together wild and crazy fun, and always showering them with his love. He is survived by Sara Putterman Greenberg, who he loved and cared for like a son. He is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Florence Gettleman, and his brothers Bob, Jerry, Sam and Roger. Ron will be greatly missed.
