I knew Ron for many years. We met in 1978 when we worked together and became friends. He was a smart, quick witted man with a great sense of humor and could snap back at any detractor with a quip that ended it. The man could read with exceptional talent. I thank him deeply for organizing our recent reunions over the past few years. We kept in touch but I knew he was very ill. In my final words to him, I thanked him for being a great friend and I told him I loved him. Go on to glory Ronald Harris. You were a generous, kind and wonderful man.
