Ronald Harris Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 21, 2017.
Ronald "Ronnie" Harris-Wilson, was born December 30, 1949 to the late Georgia O. Montgomery-Lewis and Claude Wilson in Los Angeles, California. Ronald departed this life November 21, 2017 at the age of 68. "Ronnie", as he was affectionately known by those who knew and loved him, graduated from Perris Union High School in Perris, California, where he loved and played all sports. Ronnie worked for Cardinal Van & Storage, Twentynine Palms, California for many years up and until his illness. "Ronnie" was a loving and kind person, always with a smile and willing to help his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved brother Donald "Donnie" Wilson, daughter Miranda Wilson-Hutt, sisters Ruby Jean Ross-Walker and Somathy "Patty" Ross-Gordwin, and nephew Booker "Tony" Fellows. He leaves to cherish his memories: his beloved wife Teresa, daughter Liza Harris-Wilson-Wunderlee, of Twentynine Palms, California, son Ronnie Wilson of Merced, California, sister Betty Fellows (Booker) of Newburgh, Indiana, brother Lawrence "Jr" Harris-Ross of Evansville, Indiana. Nephews Michael "Beaver" Kelly of Evansville, Indiana, Arnold "Poo" Williams-Giles (Mary) of Palm Springs, California, Dashawn Armstrong-Trams of Desert Hot Springs and Perris, California, Booker Ross and Jason Ross, both of Twentynine Palms, California. Nieces Stephanie Ross of Los Angeles, California, Jeanne Fellows-Dozier of Garland, Texas, Denise Fellows-Gallow of Beaumont, Texas, Sharon Renee Fellows-McNary ofEvansville, Indiana and a host of cousins, great nieces and nephews and friends. God saw the road was getting rough The hills were hard to climb So, he closed his weary eyes And whispered "peace be Thine" It's sometimes hard to understand Why these things must be But Faith was made for times like these So gratefully we trust in thee.

Well Uncle Ronnie, for right now, I will truly miss you making me laugh while talking about the Hot Texas weather and all the food that you wanted to eat. No matter what the situation was-you would made it a funny situation. It was always Ronnie and Donnie, never one without the other. I am glad that you two are back together again. You will have a special place in my heart. See you later!!

I will remember Uncle Ronnie's great sense of humor and that he was always happy and full of life, I will miss sharing a laugh with him. He will be missed very much and remembered for his love and caring way. Theresa, Liza and Ronnie, hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on your family for strength, and always remember how much you are loved and cared about.

It is hard to say goodby to my beloved brother. Ronnie and Donnie was the light and heart of the family. They always had a kind word, a hug and a smile. No two brothers were closer then my twin brothers. I love you and I will miss you. I can't be with you in 29 Palms, but I will be waiting in Indiana to go the last step of the with my little brother. Love to Liza and Theresa.
