Ronald Homer Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 23, 2025.
Ronald Eugene Homer "Ronnie" passed away on September 19, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 66. He was born on November 28, 1958, in Littlefield, Texas, to AA "Jim" and Gertrude Homer.

A proud graduate of Paschal High School, Ronnie became a master carpenter whose unique craftsmanship left a lasting impression. Before retirement he worked for many years for Blue Stem Cattle Co., doing what he loved. His work reflected not only his skill but also his dedication and pride in creating something so meaningful with his hands. Through his life, he built many beautiful things- structures that stand strong and true much like the man himself.

Ronnie found tremendous joy and peace in the great outdoors -whether fishing by the lake, exploring the streams, or hiking through wooded trails and pastures. He spent his most memorable moments sharing these treasured times with his family, lifelong friends, and yes always with his beloved dogs.

He was deeply devoted to his family, and to his friends, and was always someone you could count on for help,-his mere presence brought comfort and strength to those around him.

Preceded in death by his parents and his devoted wife of 14 years Laura Locker Homer.

Ronnie is survived by his daughter Leslie Homer and son Aaron Homer; brothers Jimmy Homer, Richard Homer, and Terry Homer; sisters Margaret Lewis, Brenda Witkowski, and Dana Cox; and grandchildren Ethan, Ryan, Alakai, and Teagan Homer.

May Ron's memory bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a reminder of a life lived with purpose, generosity and quiet strength.

I knew Ronnie a little during our Paschal days but got to know him better since 2010. I was impressed by what a caring and overall great guy he was. I know he fought cancer with all he had. I'm very sorry he's no longer in this realm and I wish him peace in the next realm.
