Ron was my boss when I was a kid, and again at Conestoga Mall Dominion. He was a great guy to work for. I learned a lot from him and I would say he was a catalyst on the path to my own store. He would shop at Zehrs South Cambridge and I would introduce him to colleagues and help tell his story. I missed your passing but found you because I care. Farewell Ron.

Our deepest condolences on Ron's passing. We only just learned of this. I remember Ron and Laurel coming to my Dad's funeral visitation in 2007, in Georgetown, ON.
Sincerely, Marilyn (Gorth) and Eric Peavoy

We are devastated to hear of Ron's passing. Our family lived next door to the Lakings on Glenview Ave for many years and loved all the time we spent together. They treated us like family and we loved them as much in return. Ron always had a smile on his face, and a bad joke to share. Halloween was always a special time. Not only did they share candy with our children but Ron always secretly slipped a sample bottle into Tim's pocket to be enjoyed after the events of the evening unfolded...lol! We shared everything over the back fence, babies, cookies, stories, tears and laughter. We hope fond memories will help heal to heal the family's sorrow they are feeling during this difficult time. Ron will never be forgotten in our hearts.

Ron was wonderful to me when I started full time at the LCBO and I was going through a difficult time in my life. He really helped me and I will never forget that. "Build them high and watch them fly", that was Ron´s motto when it came to building displays. He was such a great guy, I´m lucky that I had the pleasure of knowing him. Rest in heaven xo

Hoping all the loving memories of Ron will help you all during this challenging time of grief. Thinking of you all. I will remember Ron in my own way, as gentle man who always made others feel welcome. With a ready bowl of potato chips and kind words. The world was made kinder with Ron in it. Thank you for the memories. Love Colette

Dear Laurel, My sincere condolences to you and your family on the passing of Ron. I first met Ron when we were both 16 . He was working full time and I was parttime at Nagge Bros. Super Save grocery store on Main St., Galt. We continued our friendship over the years when Ron worked at the L.C.B.O. and Little's Funeral. He was always a gentleman and caring person.
