You were not the typical Uncle. You were small and immature just like we were, which made you the funnest kind of Uncle. An Uncle who wasn't afraid to get down and play with us. Up until a few years ago you still had more energy than most of us do now. I can still hear that contagious laughter, and your comment of "Oh, jeesh" when I said or did something that was even too silly for you. Thank you for the bike rides and "armpit" contests. I want you to know that you touched my life and the lives of everyone who knew you. Rest easy my little Uncle. We were truly blessed to have known you.

Elaine, Linda and Families
So much time has past.
I just heard about Ronnie's passing.
My sincerest condolences.
Such irony, in that those that grew up in large cities know so few, yet those that grew up in small communities know so many, and Ronnie knew us all.
He made our world a better place.
Ronnie spent so much time in and around our garage. Hardly ever without a smile and always the first to offer a greeting to whom ever that walked in the door. We watched it every time. Ronnie made people forget for a moment, their problems of the day. Their immediate response and genuine smile confirmed this.
He made people feel good. He was truly a unique and gifted individual. Ronnie will be missed.

Rest in peace, "Wee Ron." You were always smiling and laughing and quick to offer greetings and hugs. The world would benefit greatly if more of us were like you. I'll miss your presence at Bonnie Doon mall and hearing updates about you from my Dad. I hope you've gone off to the big foodcourt in the sky, buddy... xo

I can still remember Ronnie riding his motorcycle. He would come to Kitscoty to visit & help my Dad in the garage on whatever car he was working on & visit for a while. I also recall lots of teasing & jokes, and dances when I got older in Marwayne & Tulliby Lake. May you rest in peace Ronnie!!

Linda & Elaine & all of your families,
Some people may admire those who are famous & powerful in life and aspire to surround themselves with material possessions-yet if they only had an ounce of Ronnie's laughter and unbiased friendship they would be much further ahead and richer on the inside. My memories of Ronnie are many as I grew up in Marwayne. I was never surprised when Ronnie would show up at a dance in the local communities (Tulliby always comes to mind). He would always dance liked no one was watching. May you rest in peace Ronnie

I can't remember a time of not knowing Ronnie. As a little kid, I remember him being a jokester. As a teenager; he would often ask me to dance if I happened to be at Marwayne or Tulliby Lake; and when I left to university I remember meeting him on the bus one day....a reminder of the country life which I missed while I was there. Deepest condolences to the family.
