I would like to say about pastor Libby he was a man of God. When my young daughter was born she was icu in bangor I call if pastor could go pray for her. I know he would do this. God answered pray. She is doing great an she an her husband are in the minsities. Thanks to prayer an Jesus.

RON LIBBY WAS ONE OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSONS OF MY LIFE. HE TALKED THE TALK AND WALKED THE WALK. WHEN HE CAME TO EAB RECORDING STUDIOS IN LEWISTON TO RECORD ALBUMS, IT WAS ALWAYS AN ADVENTURE. WE SHARED GREAT CONVERSATIONS AND I HAD A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST AS A RESULT OF OUR TALKS. WHEN MY WIFE AND I WERE LOOKING TO FIND A BABY, WE WENT TO CHARLESTON FOR PRAYERS, AND HE ASKED ME, "EDDIE WHY CAN'T YOU HAVE YOUR OWN?" I SAID, THE CLOCK RAN OUT! AND HE, WITH HEAVENLY AUTHORITY, LOOKING DEEP INTO MY EYES, SAID "EDDIE, GOD CONTROLS THE CLOCKS". WOW! ONE YEAR LATER WE DROVE UP FROM LEWISTON TO HAVE 'EMMANUEL' DEDICATED TO THE LORD! THERE ARE FEW PEOPLE YOU CAN COUNT IN YOUR LIFE AS THE VERY BEST YOU EVER ENCOUNTERED. RON LIBBY IS ONE OF THOSE IN MY LIFE. I CONSIDER HIM TO BE ONE THE THE GREATS, I HAVE HAD THE GOOD FORTUNE TO SHAKE HIS HAND FEELING NOTHING BUT LOVE IN THE EXCHANGE! I WILL NEVER FORGET HIM!

What a GREAT man of God! I had the honor of serving on the Faith School of Theology Board of Directors with Pastor Libby for several years. Was always a time of refreshing to go to Charleston Pentecostal Church of their Pastoral conventions. Just enjoyed his company and always learning from his wisdom. To the family of Pastor Ron Libby,

You all are in our prayers during this time of sadness, but it is also a time for rejoicing that Ron is with his Heavenly Father and we will see him again one day.

I was saved under Pastor Ron's ministry on April 1, 1973. When I was leaving after that service I shook his hand and asked him if this feeling of God's presence would ever leave. I remember him telling me "Joel, you stay close to God and he'll stay close to you". Wise words that have held true in my 41 years of walking and serving him.

Our prayers will be with you all during this time of sadness.

Pastor Libby was a great influence in my wife's life. As a teenager, she attended the youth group in Charleston. Rejoicing that Pastor Libby has gone on to his reward; no more suffering Condolences to the family. You will all be in our prayers. Rev Frank and Arlene Gould

Pastor Libby was the best pastor that my husband and I ever had the privilege of knowing. I was so sad to hear this news and at the same time so happy that he has the rest that he so deserves. He brought only goodness to our lives and I am sure that Kenny is rejoicing that "HIS" pastor whom he loved so, is now in heaven with him. Praying for peace and strength for his wife, Judy, and the rest of his wonderful family. I would love just one more Bear hug as he gave the BEST hugs ever.

Pastor Libby will truly be missed. He touched all those that knew him. He was kind, sympathetic, and caring and always there to offer comfort and guidance to others. Sorry to hear of Pastor Libby's passing. Another of God's Generals gone to meet his Lord,The Lord greeting him an saying,,well done thou good and faithful servant.I loved to hear Pastor Libby preach. Been to his church in Charleston many times and Pastor Edith Morton had him come down and preach for her. Awesome services.He was one of my mentors, a Godly man that God has blessed. He will be sadly missed. We pray for the family of the loss.

I Know you probally dont remember me but Bro. Libby used to come up to Presque Isle Full Gospel Assembly and hold Special services I was about 12 yrs old when I remember him now I am almost63 yrs. old He was a Great man of God My Dad Rue Cray has also gone home to be with the Lord be 7 yrs.in July 2014 my Dad & my Uncles used to watch him every Sunday Morning ,So Sorry for your Loss but just know we will all be rejoicingning in Heaven some sweet day you all are in my Thoughts and Prayers. RON LIBBY WAS A TRUE MAN OF GOD. I WORKED WITH HIM ON MANY RECORDINGS STARTING IN THE EARLY 70'S. WE RECORDED MANY ALBUMS TOGETHER AND ALSO WITH MANY OF THE GREAT SINGERS FROM THE CHARLESTON PENTECOSTAL CHURCH. WE BECAME PERSONAL FRIENDS AND I VISITED THE CHURCH WITH MY FAMILY ON MANY OCCASIONS. I SOUGHT HIS ADVICE AND SUPPORT AND HE WAS ALWAYS ACCOMODATING. I WILL MISS HIM IMMENSELY. HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. We want to send our condolences to the family. I remember when I was in the fourth grade - our class going to his church and playing in a "flutaphone Band". (Now called a recorder.) Also have listened to him on the radio. He was greatly used of the Lord and will be sadly missed. He has stored up treasure in Heaven where he is re-united with many that he led to the Lord.

I was saddened to read of Rev. Libby's passing.I enjoyed his tv ministry & singing...Earth's loss is heaven's gain..

Sister Shaw put it well. A Hero in the Faith. Only Heaven really knows how many people have and will be effected by his work on this earth. We will see you soon Brother Libby.

Dearest Judy, You and Pastor Libby have both been such loving friends to our family during your many years of pastoring and since. You have always been the ultimate examples of graciousness, empathy, and generosity, always willing to put the needs of others before your own. Our family has been greatly blessed by your many acts of kindness, your numerous memorable sermons, and your lasting friendship.

Please know that our love, thoughts, and prayers continue to be with you, Rick and Linda, Mike and Carolyn, and your extended family. Although Pastor will be greatly missed, we know that he has reached heaven, his final goal, of which he always sang and preached.

When I think of Brother Libby......I am honored to have known him! A man who had a great vision and reached for it. He was so lead of the Lord to build a church out in no man's land. He was a man of great faith. Because of his great faith and believing in what God had ask him....the church is so anointed. and filled with a group of people who have a vision as he did....we will all miss him , but he will never never be forgotten....

may God be especially close to you and your family at this time of need. although I didn't know Pastor Libby personally, I have enjoyed his television preaching and singing. the programs touched me in a special way. God bless. Carrie Jones

So sorry to hear of your loss. I watched Souls Harbor for years when I was a little girl, as we got ready to attend our church, we'd have Souls Harbor on. I now attend Charleston Church and love the legacy that Pastor Libby has left. He's singing with Jesus now. I will be praying for peace and comfort for the family.
