From the first time we met Ron and Pat in the parking lot of Davenport RV park, it was instant friendship! It was as though we’d been friends all our lives. This type of meeting is extremely rare, and ever so precious. We enjoyed countless card games,( where Pat would get on quite the giggle when she beat Ron,) acting in park plays, singing with the Happy Notes, craziness on the stage during Variety Night, trips to the gas bar for a cappuccino, which Pat accidentally dumped all over Ron and the carpet. Ron,” well, I didn’t expect to be baptized in cappuccino coffee today”. With that, he set Pat is hysterical laughter! We had wonderful visits in Bay City, the most hospitable people ever, we always felt we were “ home”. It was always a joy when the kids came over, they were every bit as warm and welcoming. We always went home feeling so richly blessed. RIP dear friend, til we meet again!
With much love and deepest sympathy Willy, Shawn, Katrina and families.
