Ronald McINNIS Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 31, 2021.
December 5, 1948 - December 27, 2021
It is with sorrow we announce the passing of Ron in his 73rd year. Predeceased by his parents, Neil MacInnis and Caroline McInnis-Nagy. Also predeceased by his brother Bill.
Survived by daughter Christine Lyons(Graham), daughter Laura McInnis, son Jonathan McInnis and grandchildren Ellis, Kacey and Dash, sister Carole Baker, brother Rodney McInnis (Lynn),Lois Esler and beloved Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. His family knows him as John though he did go by RJ and Ron. John was employed with the City of Hamilton for many years as tree climber/trimmer to Parks machine equipment maintenance as well as involved with the preparation of the annual Mum show at Gage Park until his retirement in 2009. John enjoyed renovating and rebuilding. Almost guaranteed each time you visit his home something had been changed. John also enjoyed meeting up with his friends through his retirement years at their favourite local pub Thursday nights for a beer and game of pool. The glasses will be raised to you once more. John, you will be missed. May you rest in peace.

I would like to thank you John. I think you know the impact that you have made on me becoming a young adult. You taught me so much. I wouldn´t be the man I am. You were there for me when I needed a big brother. You and I know what kind of a influence you were. And for that I thank you! R.I.P. Buddy. Till we meet again.

My most heartfelt sympathy to the family of Johnny. I remember Thursday nights well, and Johnny making me laugh all the time. He has a big heart, kind eyes, and just a great genuine man.....and the world is a little bit darker without him in it. I will remember you Johnny everyday. You brought so much love and laughter to my life.....I take comfort in knowing you no longer suffer, but I miss your laugh and smile everyday.
I'm so sorry for your loss.
My heart is with you in this difficult time.
