So sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I certainly have fond memories of when you all were here in Rockford. Rachel you were like another daughter. All those soccer adventures! And of course your Dad giving RT a crash course in hockey resulting in a short but exciting career. That Dad of yours was quite a guy. My sincere condolences to you all.

Ron was a wonderful client. I represented Can and Ron in their workers' compensation cases and truly enjoyed working with him. He had integrity, guts and a strong sense of justice. I will miss him dearly. I extend my deepest sympathies to his family.

Sue:
We never met but I want to express my sympathies to you and your family. Ron was my fraternity brother and RPI. It surely is a sad day and I wish you all the best.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. I had the pleasure of knowing Ron in Rockford, Illinois, thru business, golf, and hockey.

He provided guidance and suggestions that were instrumental in my son, Adam, having a chance to play Division I College Hockey like TR. TR was a role model for Rockford hockey players with aspirations and dreams of playing college hockey.

I was 40 when I lost my father to cancer. Like TR, I was blessed to have a father that provided a foundation of integrity and guiding principles. I was at his side when he passed away with tears running down. At 65, there is not a day that goes by that I don't think about my father, the good times, and the legacy of life lessons he taught me as well as my family.

Although words will never replace the hurt and loss of a loved one, I came across a quote I would like to share with the family.

""Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal"

May all of you remember the fond memories.

God Bless,

It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.

October 22, 2012

Sue,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Ron and I were roommates for 3 years and teammates for 4 in college and certainly had a lot of fun while we were there. Without Ron's tutoring in freshman Calculus I probably would never have graduated from RPI and my life would have been totally different. Even in college Ron was always willing to help his friends anyway he could and always came through. He was certainly one of a kind and will be greatly missed.

Ron was a good friend and mentor to me at JL Clark. He was a joy to work for and my time at the company is one of the highlights of my professional career. He was always there to help and he enjoyed talking with our children about sports. And I will miss his always optimistic view of his golf game. To Sue and the family, our prayers are with you.

It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of our Chi Phi Brother, Ron. Exactly one year ago we were all together in Troy, reliving past memories and getting caught up on more recent happenings. Our hearts go out to Sue Ann during these trying times
