As you remember your love one, as God heals your broken hearts (Psalm 147:3), may your cherished memories bring you peace, comfort, and strength to endure.

Dear Kristina and family,
I was deeply saddened to read of the passing of Ron. I felt compelled to reach out to you, not only share my condolences but to also pay my respects to someone I admired greatly. He was an incredible man.
I first encountered Ron back in the late 80's. Almost instantaneously when I met Ron, I knew he was someone I wanted in my corner. He handled a high-profile legal case for me. I brought suit against a large and well-founded company based in Utah. Ron was nothing short of brilliant in his representation. His intelligence, savvy, determination and professionalism made him a force to be reckoned with. We won the case and I was fortunate to enough to get to know Ron well enough to consider him a friend.
Several years later, we were honored to have Ron perform our daughter and son-in-law's wedding ceremony. True to form, Ron delivered a meaningful and touching homily.
His athletic, academic, legal achievements speak volumes to the type of man he was. However, as you all know better than I, Ron's deepest love was all of you.
I am blessed to have known Justice Ronald E. Nehring.
I hope that you all can find peace in the knowledge that he made this world a better place.

Rest in Peace Ron!

I met Ron on our first day of law school back in 1978, and what a pleasure that was! His intelligence, sense of humor and graciousness were immediately apparent. We were admitted to the Utah State Bar on the same day in April 1978, started our families at nearly the same time, and practiced law in the same community since that long ago date. I'm lucky to have many memories of Ron, but my favorites will always be the long summer days in Sun Valley at the Bar convention, watching the kids grow up on the lawns, hiking the local trails, and solving world problems over a drink on the deck in the afternoon. Ron's wisdom, kindness and courage will always be an inspiration to me.

Justice Nehring was both a tremendous jurist and a decent person. He was as humble, genuine and likable as he was intelligent, erudite and thoughtful. I thoroughly enjoyed the professional association I was honored to have with him. My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends. He will be missed.

I met Ron in 1979 at the St. George Marathon when he was the runner up. He was gracious and funny and after that there were a handful of times when we bumped into each other at Costco on the day of the St. George Marathon. I was also fortunate enough to have watched his son Lincoln become a fine high school runner at Judge Memorial HS. You are missed Ron.
