I worked with Ron for many years at Cincinnati Bell. He was a mentor to me and saw opportunities for me that I would never have seen myself. He was a friend, a great boss, kind, generous and always supportive. Above all he patiently endured my golf game. I know his family have wonderful memories of he and Lynn. I consider myself lucky to have known him. They are together smiling down on all of us - just as it should be.

Ron was a great man and our 2005-06 President of the Cincinnati Rotary Club ! He made the "Red Light Table" at our Rotary Meetings a fun place to be!! He would always remind us to take our "SEATS!!"

Ron has been a good friend for many, many years. We have spent countless times together over those years working together, volunteering in the community together, having fun together, laughing together, dinners and parties together with our respective wives Lynn and Cheryl, sharing family and friends together, laughing together, golfing together, Rotary together, reminiscing together, and did I say, laughing together! I will miss him and his friendship.
Rest in peace Ron!

You have my deepest condolences. The first time I met Ron (at Irma & Bob’s) he just lit up the room and I can still hear his laugh. Hang on to the wonderful memories you shared.

I loved Ron's sense of humor, we would really yuk it up at the Red Lite table at Rotary. He was a tremendous fan of this great city. Sad to lose this guy. Jane Birckhead

A Rotarian to the core, Ron Ott lived the Four Way Test and its motto, Service Above Self affirmed before joining Cincinnati's Rotary Club with his selfless service in Vietnam. A good man! Most appropriate the picture here was taken at a Rotary Believe to Achieve event. We will miss Ron. Honor to his name and memory.
