Pat was an Elder in our church. He agreed in his busy schedule to give me a few lessons on playing golf.
Early one morning he drove the cart as we played a few holes under his instruction. On one hole we were about thirty yards from the green. He drove on to park the cart while I hit the ball. When he got out of the cart, he called out, "Where's your ball." I pointed to the trail in the dew that led to the hole. It had gone in. He was tickled, and I was amazed. That kept me interested in golfing.
Pat was indeed a humble, modest man with enormous abilities. We are all saddened by our loss of a good friend.

Our Love our prayers our comfort to the family . So many worthy words to express our feelings on Pat Flynn. Hopefully, we shared /said them during the twenty+ years that we knew him & Shirley and the families. A genuine good man, a smile or hug when needed. A helping hand, kindness, a ph call away. Respected by all that knew him.
His soul Strength, endurance & family/friends these last last few years appeared to keep him going. Was most interesting concerned / listened to You, not always about him. With a heartfelt smile he will b remembered.

What a perfect description, gentlemen. Mr Flynn had such a kind and welcoming spirit. I´m so thankful his grandson, my son in law, has these same qualities. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers Amy.
