Ronald "Ron" Wayne Prosise, born on March 31, 1943, passed away peacefully at his home in Sandston, Virginia, on February 6, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest Earl Prosise and Maxine Hightower Prosise, and great-granddaughter Jennifer Lilly. He is survived by his three daughters, Donna Prosise Jones, Karen Prosise Chaney, and Janet Prosise Lilly. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren: Ashley, Michael, William, Britney, Bryer, twins- Sean and Ciara, and Shayne .

With 5 great-grandchildren Mila,Brecken, Declan ,Connor, and Dalton.

Ron was married to Betty Reams Prosise until 1978 They grew up as neighbors and married when my mother graduated high school .

Although we had minimal contact with him after my parents divorced he did leave behind more than his love for animals.

May he rest in peace.

Ronnie ,Jane Earl, and family were our neighbors in Ashland in the 60's.They lived across the street from us on Duncan Street.I can't remember how many were in the family,but I do remember there was another older sister named Patricia. My condolences to Ronnie's family.Sending prayers for comfort and peace.
