I am a classmate of Ronald Prudhomme at Odom and Hebert High School. I have fond memories of Ronald from Junior High school and high school. I remember a time when he called me Black which was a shock to me since he was darker than me, lol. I told someone the story, they asked me if he called me this because my last name was Berry as in Blackberry. I will never know what he meant but I know it was in love and I still laugh when I think back in time. We the c/o of 78 have a special love for one another although it may not be said often enough, we love one another. I love Ronald as my classmate and brother. Ron was a sweet guy which whenever I saw him, I got his attention and spoke. It has been so many years since I saw him along with many of my classmates. My God continue to bless my dear classmate and his family.

To the Prudhomme Family from Evangelist Wendell Wingate, my deepest sympathy go out to you on behalf of Ronald most of the basketball world from this area was blessed to have played on the same court with him. He is a Legend among us old school players. We called him Golding like one of the best bballers from H-town. I had to google his 1st name lol. since we only called him Prudhomme or Goldding. He was one of the reason I was a fierce player on the court.. May God Bless his Soul..
