I personally knew Ron for a long time and Treasure Hunted for and with the man. I'm proud to have called Ron a friend. He showed me so much history and legends I never knew existed.

I just found out he passed and I'm very sad he went.

We went on many adventures together and I never got enough of his stories.
Gods speed my friend.

Ron and I worked over the past few years on his last two books, "Searching for Arizona's Buried Treasures" and the reprint of "Mysterious Disappearances." He was always entertaining with his stories and will miss seeing him. We were going to publish more of his notes into books- if someone has access to them, please contact me at 520-623-3733.

I was blessed to have called Ron my friend, and even more blessed to have helped him get his treasure hunt book (Searching For Arizona's Buried Treasure A Two Year Odyssey) published before he passed. God speed my friend to the greatest treasure hunt of all!

R.I.P Ronald thank you for being in my heart... You were my role model all my life. Without your support and encouragement. My deepest sympathy to your family. God be in your hearts.

Ron Quinn was like the older brother I didn't have. I feel like I've lost a good friend and brother. Ron new this too and so a friendly kinship began back in the 1980's. I had remembered him from an issue of Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine where I saw photos of his movie RESCUED. He was a guy living in the same state as I and making science-fiction films and doing creative makeup!! We became fast friends. Ron was an artist, cartoonist, makeup EFX artist, author of 3 books, a treasure hunter, a maskmaker, filmmaker, and widely known in those fields. I could go on and this would be a short book about the life and times of an incredible life. Love you Ron and you will be missed. God Bless you Buddy!

An amazingly talented man, always young at heart, that shared so much with so many. We share but a brief time here, Ron shined so brightly with infectious energy and love of all things film.
