Ronald J "Ron" Roberge

Ronald "Ron" J. Roberge, 62, of Sarasota, FL, passed away on November 13, 2023. He was born on August 29, 1961, in Hartford, CT, and grew up in Winsted, CT. Ron was an avid golfer and loved to cook. He had a special love for animals, especially his cats Squirt and Baby. He enjoyed spending time with his life-long friends, "the guys from Winsted", and always looked forward to their annual "guys-weekend trips", where many great memories were made.

Ron is survived by his mother, Theresa Roberge, his sisters Brenda Lauzier and Kim Huber (Dennis), his sister-in-law Alice Roberge, and his nieces and nephews Greg (Jodi), Vanessa, Michelle (Steve), Kevin, Melissa, Michael, Brian, and Jeremy. He is also survived by his great-niece Mackenzie and great-nephew Andrew. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Donald Roberge, and his brother, Raymond Roberge.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Last Post, located at 95 Belden Street, Falls Village, CT 06032.
