Ronald Glenn Tweed Sugar Hill - Ronald "Ronnie" Glenn Tweed, 81, passed away April 14, 2023 in Grayson Georgia with his family by his side. He was born January 14, 1942 to Glenn William and Ruth Elizabeth Revis Tweed in Asheville, NC

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Leuzette Mason Tweed, sons; James "Chip" Tweed (Shari) of Dayton Ohio; Ronald Jeff Tweed (Jennifer) of Grayson Ga, and granddaughter, Abigail McKenzie Tweed, Brothers; William "Bill" Tweed (Judy) of Monroe, NC and Raymond Tweed of Asheville, NC and Uncle and Aunt, William "Bill" and Martha Revis of Elkin, NC; Nieces Amanda Tweed, Hillary Pennstrom (Zack), and Lynette Marez (Anthony), Alexandria Tweed.

Ronnie began his career in the newspaper industry at the age of 12 with a street route and retired as a circulation manager after 45 total years of service. He worked at Asheville Citizen Times for 25 yrs before going to Hendersonville Times where he retired. He loved his fellow workers and carriers.

His personal passion were playing in golf and fishing tournaments, and going hunting out West.

Ronnie was a giant in his faith. He became a follower of Christ at the age of 14 at the Asheville Wesleyan Church. His faith was strong and it showed in his daily walk whether it be around family, friends, or strangers. His circle of fellowship included members of West Asheville Baptist, Trinity of Fairview, Eastside Baptist in Arlington, TN, FBC Buford, and Ivy Creek Baptist Church in Buford, GA.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 7, 2023 at 3:00pm at Ivy Creek Baptist Church, 2500 Ivy Creek Rd, Buford, GA with Pastor Craig Dale officiating.

Memorial contributions can also be made to Ivy Creek Baptist Church Building Fund in his memory or flowers are appreciated and may be sent to 1901 Paper Birch Cove, Grayson, GA 30017.
