KIRBY ALARY

My name is Kirby Alary. I'm so sad to hear of Ron's passing. My heart and prayers go to Marsha and the entire family. I had no idea. I had been trying to contact Marsha on her birthday last June as I do every year, but the phone number was no longer in service. After looking online for a possible connection, I found Ron's name. I met the Verna family in 1985. Ron was a wonderful man. He was warm and welcoming. He had a quiet charm. I wish I had been able to see him and Marsha in recent years. We had talked about it, but time and distance happened. I did keep in touch annually, until the number had been disconnected. I will never forget Ron. He was a very gentle and accepting man. Again, I am so sad to hear of his passing. I will continue to try and reconnect. Sending love.

Knew Ron from Glendale High School. He was a year ahead of me, but we were friends for years. Kind of lost when he and Marsha moved to Indio. Coached Babe Ruth baseball in La Crescenta together as both his son Ken, and my son Randy were good buddies, and still are. Never heard a harsh word from Ron, but I'm sure he wouldn't say the same of me he was still able. You just couldn't not like the guy, he was as someone wrote a sweet, gentle man. Can still see his smile in my mind. God bless his gentle soul.

We will miss Uncle Ron.... We are so glad to have been able to go to his 80th birthday party. I’ll miss seeing him practice his bowling move.
Love to you all!!!!!
