I'm so sorry to read of Ron's passing. My sincere condolences to the Walesby family and to his friends in Port. Ron was a wonderful man and all-round Australian achiever. As my Dad's best mate during school days in Gladesville - and later as his best man, Ron and Dad's passion for aviation continued beyond the war years into retirement at Port Macquarie. Ron's legacy is one of widespread respect from friends and within the broader community. A life well led and much appreciated. Vale Ron.
