Wanamaker, Ronald D. Ronald D. Wanamaker, loving husband and father, passed away on July 21, 2022 at the age of 73. Ron was born on October 17, 1948, the youngest child of Alvah and Lorraine (Taylor) Wanamaker of Brown City, MI. He attended Brown City High School where he was an exceptional athlete, graduating in 1967. He went on to work as an Insurance Agent, a profession he loved, where he thrived in his nearly fifty year long career. An unrivaled passion of Ron's was his devotion to his family. From an early age, Ron and his sisters formed an everlasting bond and deep friendship that continued throughout their lives. Ron, or Papa Ron as he was affectionately known, unconditionally loved and supported all those he cared for. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his quick wit, his infectious smile and his kind and compassionate spirt. He was a practical joker with a heart of gold, never hesitating to help people out. He was a culinary master who loved great music and made many friends along the way. All who knew Ron will greatly cherish his impact on their lives. Ron will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Jeannine; daughter Emily (Benjamin) Norris; grandsons Levi and Theo; step-children Max, Dayna, Nathan, Elizabeth, Emily and Sarah; step-grandchildren Olivia, Patrick, Rainer, Liev, Helena, Ilea, Stellan, Jonathan, Elise, Thaddeus and Welleran; sisters Connie (Terry) Ignasiak and Sandra (Robert) Brenner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who will forever cherish the many memories they have of their beloved Uncle Ron. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvah and Lorraine Wanamaker and his niece, Kathy Brenner.
