In memory of
Eddie and Dorothy Simmons

Ronnie, Ron, Captain Ron and Cus...I knew him by all of these names! He was my neighbor growing up outside of Keller. He got his first car before me so thankfully I had a ride to and from school!
We always stayed in touch with each other in Texas, Colorado, Arizona and back to Colorado. I could always depend on Ronnie to pick me up a car (and there were many) at the auction! He never let me down!
Ron and Mary and Dorothy and I had some great times just visiting with each other!
Ole Friend, you are sorly missed by us!

Ron, if I could only make you one more Peach cobbler. Maybe you would give me another big kiss!

Ron was such a wonderful guy. Ron and l did a lot of car business in the mid 70s back when selling cars was great fun . Ron sold us our first RV a 1973 . Winnebago Minnie whinnie . In the 80s as a Hunter Sailboat ,dealer we sold a 28 ' Sailboat to a friend of Ron's naturally thru Ron in Fla. Ron ended up with the boat ( summer wind) a few years later and took it to the Abacos. We , my wife and her sister and brother in law, chartered a sailboat out there and met up with Ron and Mary. Great fun. Stories in there to be told. Last time I was with Ron he needed to sail his boat back to Ft Lauderdale cause a hurricane ripped his head Sail apart. Ask me if I would like to do the trip with him. Game of course. So wi left with just the main to do the 90 mile+ trip. About 30 miles out the main ripped to shreds. Just the engine now ,getting dark. Got to Lauderdale about midnight. No big deal to Ron. Needless to say , I'm still thanking God. Ron was such a terrific Guy .We will miss him dearly. Brian and Patty Casson.

Dearest American Dad,
I remembered you when you picked me up for my first time in the US with a Wonderful Dream Car: a pink caddy full of balloons. I will always remember your sweetness, calmness and love & generosity for your family.
Thank you for being part of my life. Love you, always. Nitza

Few words are adequate at a time like this. May the memories of laughter, times spent with family and friends, favorite travels ,
