Mr. West gave Glen and me our first jobs. He and Mrs. West taught us much about life and love. We both will forever cherish his lessons of how to live out this life following the example of Christ. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My heart is broken. Mr.West is one of the finest men I have ever known. And, I knew him from the age of 5, when my Dad, Vester Bounds, would take me into Southwest Drugs in the little shopping "mall" where there was a A&P, and Morgan and Lindsey, etc. It was a LONG time ago. He was a constant in my life when I lived on 13th Avenue in Hattiesburg. I cannot tell you how sorry I am for this terrible loss. They do not make men like this anymore. God bless...

I have so many wonderful stories of Mr. West. He was truly a spectacular person. He taught me so many things and loved to laugh at me. Maybe because I raked the wrong lawn he sent me to or chopped up some flowers when he mistakenly put a weed whacker in my hands. The best thing he taught me was how to be a more caring, loving, and open person. He will truly be missed.
