I just learned of brother Ron's death. We worked together at st. Joseph's hospital thirty -five years ago. My family attended many services at Casa Santa Cruz where brother Ron resided. I will always remember Ron as one of the finest men I have known. He was so caring, and compassionate , a hard worker , and so funny!! He was a wonderful representative of men and of the Catholic Church. I have spent some time in recent years in Chicago and was elated to meet five or six young people who had known (and loved) Ron from their early internships at Andre house.! What a legacy he has left! My family is saddened by ron's death but he was a faithful man and I take comfort in knowing he will truly rest in God's arms.
