Ronald “Ron” Wilson, 88, of Middle Grove, Missouri, passed away surrounded by family on July 4, 2023, at his home.

Ron was born on April 4, 1935, in Higbee, Missouri, son of Thad and Marilyn (Melville) Wilson. On November 2, 1956, he married the love of his life Shirley (Hamilton), who survives him.

Ron worked for several years at Stamper Feed Mill, he also loved remodeling houses and doing concrete work. He enjoyed spending time with his family, drawing, painting, and collecting antiques.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thad and Marilyn Wilson; grandson, Tim Wilson; brothers, James (Janelle) Wilson, Martin (Nora) Wilson, Franklin (Peggy) Wilson, Gilbert (Norma) Wilson, Edward Wilson and Paul Wilson; sisters, Velma (George) Maxwell and Julia (Ernest) Hess.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Wilson of Middle Grove, MO; sons, Wyatt (Linda) Wilson of Higbee, MO, and Mark (Cindy) Wilson of Higbee, MO; daughters, Cindy Wilson of Moberly, MO, Shelia (Scott) Ames of Huntsville, MO, and Rhonda (Freddie) Montgomery of Huntsville, MO; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren;  two sisters-in-law, Melody Wilson and Margaret Wilson; many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will held from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, followed by a funeral service starting at 3:00 p.m. at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Moberly, MO.

Local arrangements are under the direction of PATHWAY-MILLARD Funeral Directors, 411 Union Avenue, Moberly, Missouri 65270 (660) 263-7284. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.pathwaymemorial.com.
