Rory Evans, 38, of Montreal, Quebec passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Tuesday, September 8, 2015. Born on June 11, 1977, Rory was taken much too soon. But during his short time here, Rory lived life to the fullest. Never one to shy away from the extremes of life, Rory spent the early 2000s sky diving, but broke his back in 2006 after a bad landing. Determination and sheer willpower helped him overcome and become fully mobile again, and after 10 years, he just recently got back in the air and rediscovered his passion for the sport. Rory had a thirst for knowledge. If there was something that interested him, he would dedicate himself to learning everything about it, whether it was becoming a pilot, getting his degree in winemaking and viticulture from Niagara College, collecting sneakers, or producing music, his newest venture. Rory was a soft-hearted, devoted animal lover and would take his beloved French bulldog, Bubs (and before that Otto) everywhere with him. The love and joy that he received from his pets over the years were matched only by their loyalty to and adoration for him. But, his greatest thrill and pride came from marrying the love of his life, Peggy Trougakos on August 29, 2015, making the timing of his passing so tragic for all. There is some comfort in knowing that he left this world feeling love and happiness, having been surrounded by friends and family during this joyful time. Rory was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Leedham. Rory is survived by his loving wife, Peggy, his father Ernest (Rocky) Evans (Hoa Nguyen), as well as family and friends in all corners of the world. Rory's life will be celebrated at the Mount Royal Commemorative Services on 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont, QC H2V 2P9. Visitation on Monday, September 21, 2015 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Service on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 2 p.m.
