Binghamton: Frank Lucik Jr., 94, fell asleep in the Lord on Tuesday morning, January 22, 2013, at Elizabeth Church Manor Nursing Home. Frank was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife, Ann, in 1984; his brothers, John and George; and sisters, Maria Vattai and Anne Gugger. He is survived by his son, Robert Lucik and his wife, Janet of Binghamton; his granddaughter, Ashley Lucik; six great-grandchildren; his niece, Patricia Bleier; and nephew, Joseph Vattai. Frank was a past president and member of St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church and was on the Church Renovation Committee in the 1960's. He was licensed self-employed NYS insurance broker. Frank was an Army veteran of WWII serving in the European Theatre. He was a member of the Binghamton Kiwanis, an avid New York Mets fan and enjoyed playing golf. A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by The Very Rev. Protopresbyter James Dutko on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church, 280 Clinton Street, Binghamton where the family will receive friends Friday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service in St. Michael's Church's Atrium. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Frank's memory to St. Michael's Cemetery Fund.
