Rosalee Ilene Brasher, 87, of Kansas City, Mo passed away August 15, 2010 from complications of cancer at Liberty Terrace Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday August 18th at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 1600 N 291 Hwy, with visitation preceding services 1:30 - 2:00 pm at church, and Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home. Burial in Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church or Cancer Research.
Rosalee was born January 28, 1923 in LaRussell, Mo. She worked for the North Kansas City School District in food service, retiring after 21 years of service. She taught ceramics for 10 years from her home, and was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Her family was her life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Everett Brasher. Survivors include sons, Gary (Linda) Brasher, Terry (Joanna) Brasher, Tom (Deborah) Brasher, daughter, Brenda (John) McDaniel, brother, Lavern Clark, 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
