She would blow me kisses to politely get rid of me. Unity and Sunrise will surely miss your quirks, Rosalie. May your spirit fly free with the birds.

On behalf of Fr. Scott Donahue and Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, we would like to extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family and friends of Rosalie Huetteman.

May the angels lead her into paradise; may the martyrs come to welcome her and take her to the holy city, the new and eternal Jerusalem.

I was one of the fortunate younger brothers that Rosalie taught and nurtured when I was little. She read me bedtime stories (Rapunzel and Rumplestiltskin were my favorites), played classical music endlessly, and sang show tunes. To this day, I still like fairytales (movies with happy endings), classical music and Broadway musicals. Many of my happiest childhood memories are times I spent with my big sister!

Rosalie and Paul were beyond welcoming. The first time I met them I felt like another child. They were always kind and concerned about others; genuinely interested and concerned with how I was doing. Unfortunately I was best friend of their least favorite son in law, but they loved me in spite of that. The open house comment above is truly accurate, even if I did miss a few open spikes in family volleyball competitions. I feel fortunate to have shared part of my life with Rosalie and Paul, and I am thankful they are now together. My heart goes out to the entire family.

Oh Aunt Posy you were so loved by all. I love the mention of their home always having an "open door" for family and friends. I stayed twice while moving 2 of my children to Chicago.
The outside light was always on.
You will be missed but always remembered.
Love & Hugs. Jan & Terry Smith.
