Hi Giselle,
Sorry to hear of your mother's passing. What a gracious lady. She was the reason I became a member of the Hard of Hearing group which has really helped me. I am still an ongoing member to this day. I was away at the time of her passing and just read it in the Good Shepherd bulletin today. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

Sincerely,
Lucille Kane

Gregg, We Sincerely Extend Our Sympathy To You and Family. Your Mother and her kind mannerism will always be remembered.

Your father of course and I had many dealings over the years, beginning mid 1950's, with he operating Thermoguage Instrument Company in Windsor and I as Engineer at Clark Foods/Green Giant, Harrow, then continuing over the years when at Green Giant, Tecumseh. As a vendor he was certainly reliable and often quite innovative if the need arose and on occasion when I perhaps had an emergency and/or need for something and perhaps not in his field, he was always willing to help while remaining highly competitive in cost. Notably was an occasion when we had failure in the peak of our vegetable processing season with a 150 horsepower ammonia refrigeration compressor due to a broken crankshaft. I sourced the parts availability, circumvented the traditional means of supply, means of freight etc. and quite cost effectively with Ray providing supplier service for, the compressor under my direction was repaired by our staff including a complete overhaul and returned to service within 36 hours.

On occasion with I being a member of the Institute of Power Engineers, Windsor Branch and Ray being an associate member, we would with our wives share camaraderie and an enjoyable evening while attending I.P.E functions/banquets at Sunnyside Tavern, Hilton, Caboto Club and elsewhere in Windsor area and Michigan.

Your parents certainly are memorable and will never be forgotten as over the years we would share conversation in regard to many topics and especially that of our families and their activities.

I am so sorry to hear about your mom. She was a great lady and a special friend that I had the honor to know over a lot of years. She always looked at life as the glass was half full, not half empty. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
