Rosalie Miller Obituary

Rosalie G. Miller, 95, of Frackville, passed away Thursday morning at Shenandoah Senior Living Center.
Born in Gilberton, Nov. 6, 1916, she was a daughter of the late William and Catherine Clarke Wynne.
She was a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School, Girardville, Class of 1934.
She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Frackville, a member and past president of the Catholic Daughters of America, Chapter No. 1029, the Rev. James A. Hogan Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and the Ladies of the Elks, BPO Elks No. 1533, all of Frackville, the Frackville Senior Citizens and the former Frackville Women's Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Francis J. Miller, in 2004, and a brother, William Wynne.
Rosalie is survived by four sons, Edward W. Miller, Dayton, Ohio, Francis W. Miller, Frackville, Honorable Charles M. Miller, Norwegian Township, and Mark E. Miller, Malvern; a daughter, Donna Marie A. Miller, New York, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Frackville, with the Rev. Robert Finlan, as celebrant. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville, and again from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosalie's name to St. Joseph Church Memorial Fund, 7 S. Broad Mountain Ave., Frackville, PA 17931.

Dear Miller Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul. I remember many years ago when the Clarkes and Millers spent time together. Your grandmother (my Aunt Kate)and my Pop Pop(your mom's Uncle Billy) loved to get together and talk about our ancestors. Your mom was always a gracious hostess. She will be missed.

Dear Donna and the entire Miller family,
This is a tender time when sweet memories mix with the pain of remembering them. You all watched over your mom in your own way giving her love, care, solace and presence during this last part of her journey on this earth. It's so hard to experience this loss. Tears flow, as they should. While you know she is at peace and not suffering any longer, the feeling of loss washes over you in waves.
