Grandma, I want to thank you. Your love for me was so unconditional. I went through so many phases in life, some good, many bad, yet you were the one person who never seemed to judge me through any of it. As I look back on videos, photos, and just memories, your love for me never wavered, it only grew. You put up with me when no one else did. Wow am I lucky. I remember one night I surprised you and took you to Oliveriis for dinner. Just you and me. After we finished dinner I remember We didn´t want the night to end so I took you to the gym I used to go to which was right next to your retirement home. I will never forget the look on the massive gym guys faces as a scrawny 17 year old and her 89 Year old grandma with a walker slowly waddled their way in. Man did we share a laugh that night. I´m so grateful for the bond that we had and for the memories we got to make together. You were so much more than a grandma to me, you were my best friend.
The last few weeks before I went to school I kept breaking down by your side saying goodbye in case it was my last time seeing you, But it never was the last time seeing you, and it still isn´t. I see you in the people around me. Your humor went to Zoe, your intelligence went to Kylie, your kindness went to Jerry, your charm went to Jeffery, and the love you had for family went to your kids as they show their kids that love. (Lastly I like to think your good looks can be found in me and your sister Sandy). You´re still here in all the people you touched, and it goes beyond that. I know in my heart you´re watching over us and can hear us. So Geem, from everyone here, we want to say we love you, we thank you, and we will never forget you. Your legacy will live on far beyond your years spent here on this earth.

I love you Grandma Rosalie.

I am saddened to hear of Rosalie's passing but comforted that she is with Ralph in heaven. Rosalie will be remembered for many things, her warm smile, compassion and love of life, but for me it will be her generosity. For many years she was personally involved with the Ralph Weiner Scholarship Fund at Hillcrest Country Club, providing young adults with an opportunity to further educations. She had nothing to gain by doing so, but that is who Rosalie was, she truly cared about others and their families. She always emphasized helping others and doing the right thing in life. Despite all her generosity she never expected anything in return. I promised her when I received my scholarship in 2007 that I would use my education to make the world a better place and that is how I intend to honor her legacy. Rosalie, I am so blessed to have met you in life and please know that your kindness will never be forgotten.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
When I was growing up my mom and your mother plus Bernice Brook and Harriet Bernstein were really good friends and good tennis players. What a fore some. My moms nickname to Rosalie was "Roe"

There truly was no one like you grandma. I will miss our sleepovers, throwing blankets and pillows off the balcony, using your shower growing up, running my hands through your perfectly brushed hair, using your makeup, playing games from rummikub and dominos to pretend playing school. I will miss the more recent memories, the memories where we spoke about life and I could talk to you about anything and you made sure of it. All you ever wanted out of life is for me to happy and for your family to thrive, it´s safe to say you accomplished more than that in your life time. You provided opportunities for your sons, hope for your sons children, and a home full of love to anyone considered family. You instilled important principles in me. Some of those principles include: perseverance through your words of wisdom during trying times, open-mindedness, adjusting my perception of the world through a different lens, and one I found more so difficult to learn over the years - accountability, claiming responsibility over my doings. Grandma, missing you will eat at me slowly but it will be a beautiful reminder to lean on family, which is all you ever wanted. I will find myself looking for the break in the clouds in honor of you. I love you. Until we meet again grandma

To the Weiner family I am so sorry to hear about your mom. My mother and "Ro" which she would call her played tennis along with Harriet and Bernice Brooks. My mother would host Christmas dinner for her Jewish friends. You mom was totally cool.
