We are saddened by the death of Rosalynn Carter and send heartfelt condolences to you. She will be missed by all who loved her. Ms. Carter was a mental health advocate who worked to improve mental health care and destigmatize mental illness. She also worked alongside her husband, President Carter, as they supported Habitat for Humanity. She was the voice for overlooked and underrepresented people. Thank you for the beautiful leadership example you gave our country. Just watched your Atlanta service and it is easy to see how much you were loved by your family, friends, and even the potentates of this country. It was an authentic, gracious Southern service for an authentically gracious S outhern lady. I loved what your grandson told us, that "you did not need a eulogy; your life was a sermon."

Peace to you in the presence of the joy of our Savior.

Dear President Carter and Family,
Praying for peace and comfort for you all in the loss of Mrs. Rosalynn. She was a wonderful First Lady. I will never forget the day I was able to shake her hand when she came to my college campus to campaign for President Carter. She was a blessing to people all over the world and the world is a better place because she was in it. She can now rest in peace, as our Heavenly Father has, no doubt, welcomed her with these words, "Well done, thy good and faithful servant."
Love, Emily Fewell Jackson, TN

They were extremely lucky to have each other. I wish nothing but love to the former President, and my condolences to both him, and his extended family.
