Bruce Certain Obituary
Bruce H. Certain 28 of Latham unexpectedly passed from this life Wednesday, February 21, 2024. He was born Thursday, July 13, 1995, in Portsmouth, Ohio the son of Hager and Della (Linson) Certain.
In addition to his parents he is survived by three sons Hunter, James and little Bruce; two brothers Danny Certain of Latham and Tyler Hester of Greenfield; a sister Brittany Hester of Greenfield; grandparents Michael and Betty Starkey and great grandmother Helen Starkey all of Chillicothe; several aunts and uncles including Bonnie Howland of Greenfield, Augustie Church of Lima, Rose Keels of Chillicothe, Ashley and Austin McCoy of Lucasville; Sasha and Tyler Smith of Chillicothe, Jack Certain of Greenfield, Edward Linson of Waverly, Michael and Stephanie Starkey of Waverly and numerous cousins including Matt and Renee` Kiser, Wade Kiser and Ethan Kiser.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Bruce Linson; grandparents Hunter and Lucy Certain; aunts Mary Brown and Velma Carpenter; uncles John and Danny Certain and several cousins.
Bruce enjoyed hunting but he loved being with his boys and taking them fishing. He was also a 2014 graduate of Western High School.
Funeral services will be held 1 pm Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home in Bainbridge with burial following in the Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
