Dear Aunt Sadie,
Thank you for all that you did for me and my family. You were the glue to our family -- hosting every Christmas eve throughout our lives. I'll never forget how hard you worked to make my wedding day perfect -- the best wedding photos were taken from your house. You always opened your house to family and friends and made everyone feel comfortable and loved. I have so many great memories of spending time with you from childhood to adulthood, and I'll never forget them. I will miss you so much, but I know you are resting peacefully with no more worries. Aunt Sadie, you will be in my heart forever! I will always love you! Your loving niece, Jean xox

I always knew you were there for me Aunt Sadie - always loving and supportive. I so much enjoyed the time we spent together from when I was very, very young and all through the years. Our time together helped me be a better person. You were a wonderful role model!
Losing you breaks my heart; however, I know the Lord has a special place for your wonderful, always giving and loving soul.
You gave me wonderful times and special memories, and, of course, your unconditional love.

Dear Aunt Sadie, your love, care, help, and receptiveness to me and my family is ensconced now in cherished memories. From a multitude of family gatherings such as Frank's birthdays, every Christmas Eve hosted by you, through us advancing through life you have been supportive. You accepted my wife from the moment you met her, and she felt privileged to style your hair throughout decades. After my parents retired and relocated, you still were able to assemble us on Christmas Eves, thereby endearing us together. It has been a privilege caring for you these last hard months as you were adapting to assistive care. Your face would break into a smile upon seeing Debbie because you knew she would calm you, rub your back, and, plus, the milkshakes and ice cream. You seemed very pleased upon our visits and shocked, stating, "How did you find me? Does anybody else know I'm here?" Dementia stole your memory. Just snippets of the past remained. You will remain fondly in our memory forever. You were an excellent citizen, daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt - your efforts not forgotten. May God welcome you into His kingdom where once again you can reunite with Uncle Nicky. Amen.
