Waverly - Roscoe Moore, 85, of Waverly, Ohio died 8:17 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Valleyview Care Center, Frankfort.

Roscoe was born April 28, 1932 in Durbin, Kentucky, the son of the late Rev. Elmer Moore and Delphia Marie (Johnson) Moore. On November 28, 1970 Roscoe was united in marriage to Carol E. (Hayes) Moore who survives.

Surviving are four sons, Marty Moore and wife Tammy of Waverly, Ohio, Scot Moore and wife Cindy of Waverly, Ohio, Glenn Moore and wife Donnette of Cana, Virginia, Greg Moore of Piketon, Ohio, two daughters, Pamela Mustard of Bainbridge, Ohio, Amy Cockrell and husband David of Bainbridge, Ohio, twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, five brothers, James Moore and wife Evelyn of Piketon, Ohio, Buford Moore and wife Mary of Eads, Tennessee, Walter Moore and wife Lavonne of Waverly, Ohio, Wendall Moore and wife Joyce, Gary Moore and wife Chris all of Piketon, Ohio, two sisters Bertha Scowden and husband Richard of Piketon, Ohio, Exculene Hall of Flatwoods, Kentucky.

Roscoe was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Kenneth Earl and Walden Moore.

Roscoe was a member of Hamman Church, Zahns Corner. He was a former mechanic for Vallery Ford with 31 years of service and a retired self-employed auto mechanic.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly with Rev. Ronald Hines officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME from 4 - 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 26, 2017 and one hour prior to the service Wednesday.
