Dear Klobuchar Family,

I frequently thought of your mother as I passed the frontage road off 55 that led back to her home. I remember working in her yard with several other parents when she was recouperating from a heart related illness some 19 or so years ago.

Three of our four younger children experienced Mrs. Klobuchar as their teacher in second grade at Plymouth Creek Elementary in the Wayzata School District. Because they are close in age, Rose was I am sure, enthralled to have my husband and myself as parents to work with three years in a row. The only reason she did not teach our fourth youngster was because he was a twin and was separated from his brother to the room next door. They all remember her fondly and I have many special memories of each of them interacting with "Mrs. Klobuchar" and their classmates. Stories that bring laughter and tears to my eyes.

May God bless her soul and help you all to cope with her death. What a special person and educator she was!

My children had the pleasure of "Miss Heuberger's " wonderful way with children when they were kindergarten students at Tuttle school in southeast Minneapolis. May she rest in peace. Regards and sympathy from the Czaia family.

Dear Amy and family:
I am very sorry for your loss. I know how much my mother means to me, and can't imagine the immense sadness you must feel. The wonderful memories will help you through, and the lessons she taught you will continue to be a part of you that you share with your family, friends and constituents. A mother's love is forever.

Prayers to you and your family from my mom and me and the entire Scott family.

I only knew Rose for a short time as she ate several meals with my mother and me at Masonic. We greatly enjoyed her company and found her to be a very sweet person. She always had a smile for me when I saw her in the hallway. I wish I had realized she was formerly a teacher as my 37 years of teaching would have given us more to chat about. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family and friends.

To: The Klobuchar Family

Our prayers and sympathy is sent your way, but rest asure that your Mother Rose is with the Lord, for the Bible say to be absent of the body is to be present with the Lord.

We pray that the Lord will strenghten you where you are weak and build you up where your torn down during your time of sorrow.

God Bless

In 1954 Mrs. Klobuchar taught kindergarten at Tuttle School in S.E. Minneapolis. I'm sure she wouldn't remember me, but I felt so lucky to have her for a teacher. My sister Joyce and I were twins and it was the first time that we were separated from each other. It had to have been her very capable and tender hands that helped to make our transition easier. She was a wonderful teacher and a warm woman. And, I will never forget her for her kindness.

PS: My sister Joyce succumbed to cancer at the tender age of 13. So terribly sorry for your loss.

Even though I didn't have the opportunity to be in her class, I have great memories of her wonderful energy and excitement for education. Oakwood Elementary will not be same without her.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I remember especially Rose's enthusiasm for butterflies. She came one day to our house with a cocoon about to open. She brought it with her because she didn't want to miss the event. I will miss her.
