Rose Marie Povero

April 28, 1929 - February 21, 2023 Los Osos, CA - Rose Marie was born to Micheal and Frances Povero in Seneca Falls, NY at the beginning of the Great Depression. The hard times molded her into a strong and determined woman, raising 2 daughters as a single parent.

She died at her home in Los Osos, CA in February 2023.

Rose was very involved with her community as a volunteer with People Helping People, Loops of Love and the Grandmothers Club. She knitted and crocheted hundreds of hats for the homeless and special blankets for family and friends.

Rose is survived by her daughters Michele Novoa (Phil) and Victoria Diton (Ron), her grandchildren Lucia, Vincent, Michael, Allison and her great grandson James. She is also survived by her brothers Frank and Michael as well many nieces and nephews. She is pre deceased by her sister Betty Jean.

A Celebration of Life is planned for April 2, 2023 at the Los Osos Community Center 2180 Palisades Ave Los Osos from 1 -4 pm. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to People Helping People PO Box 6221 Los Osos CA 93412
