In memory of

Rose Rita Levens WURMSER

Add memories that will last forever

Not sure what to say?

Matt Black (formerly Wurmser)

Some of my fondest memories as a child were the few times we travelled to Kentucky to visit Aunt Rosie and Uncle Jerry and the family at their lake house. I will always remember Aunt Rosie for her great warmth, spirit, and generosity, and I am deeply saddened to find that she has passed. My heartfelt best wishes and prayers go out to the family. Love, Matt

Since Mom and Dad have moved to Ohio, we were unaware of Rose Rita's passing. Our sincere thoughts and prayers to the entire Wurmser family. She always had a very special place in my heart.

Love is stronger than death even though it can't stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries it can't separate people from love. It cannot take away our memories either. In the end, life is stronger than death. You will be missed so very much Rose.

I was sorry to hear about Rose. Rose and my Mom were roommates at Richmond Place. Now they are both in Heaven still being roommates and talking to one another and there is no curtain separating them. Jerry, I just talked to you one afternoon and I knew
you were such a good person and you loved Rose. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

She was an angel in disguise...the world will never be the same without her. I was provided with a lot of things growing up that I would not have had if it not for Rose and Jerry, my extended family as a child...the most loving, giving people I know.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Rose Rita. Ralph & I are not in town and won't be able to attend the funeral, but would if we were there. It's a major loss to the Wurmser family but also to the Lexington community ... and especially to Temple Adath Israel. I can still picture Jerry and Rose Rita warmly welcoming any new person who came to services. May her memory be a blessing to the family. We will all miss this wonderful lady

Rose was an awesome lady who I will miss so much. She and Jerry have been like parents to me for most of my life. I know she is in a better place and not in pain but there is an emptiness in my heart.
