Roseanne Martello Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 1, 2025.
Roseanne Martello, the beloved matriarch of her family, passed away peacefully on June 16 at 1:20 PM, surrounded by her husband Mario, two of her four children, and four of her twelve grandchildren. While her departure leaves an unfillable space, she lived a life rich in love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to her family.

Rosie was more than just the heart of her family-she was the glue, the guide, and the fierce protector of her cherished children (Doreen, Denise, Richard, and Dawn, Son-in-Laws John and Dirk and Daugher-in-Law Darlene), twelve grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren. She ensured that every single one of them grew up knowing they were adored beyond measure. Love was her currency, and she spent it freely.

She was a woman of style and substance-never stepping out without perfect hair, flawless makeup, and, of course, her legendary purse of tricks (which, rumor has it, contained everything but the kitchen sink). Roseanne had a passion for shopping especially with her sister Donna, a weakness for jewelry, and an unshakable belief that looking good was just another way of spreading joy.

Though she has left this world, she is now reunited with her parents, her dear sisters Carol and Delores, and treasured friends Mary Savo, Rosie and Charlie Giovinco, Mary Ellen Landrigan, Gene and Dave Sullivan along with so many loved ones waiting to welcome her home.

Rosie's absence will be deeply felt, but her spirit-her strength, her humor, her boundless love-will live on in every story told, every memory cherished, and every perfectly coordinated outfit worn in her honor.

She wouldn't want us to cry too much-but she would absolutely insist that we celebrate her life the way she lived it: with love, laughter, and maybe a little shopping.

While words can never fully capture all she was to us, we hold tight to the memories, the lessons, and the love that will continue to live on in all of us.

Rosie was the best neighbor and friend one could ask for. Played golf with her years ago when she hadn´t played for close to a year and she pounded the ball down the fairway. Said it´s a very easy game as the ball is not moving when you hit it . Then she took out a mirror to
Fix her lipstick. She was the ultimate lady and friend.
