It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rosella Mitchell on January 6, 2016 at the age of 81 years. Rosella will be sadly missed by her family, friends, her beloved dog Jess and by the many volunteer groups she participated in. Rosella, married to Graham and mother of Andrew, was a retired Regina school teacher. She was an avid golfer and during the summer months you could find her on the links or at the cabin. In the winter months, after retirement, she loved to travel and visit all of the wonders of the world. Rosella loved animals and so naturally she fell in love with Africa, where she spent a lot of her time during the last few years of her life. Rosella was a very kind and caring person who liked to help others. Even in the later stages of her life she was always there to jump in and volunteer or to lend a hand to someone in need. She was a friend to a great many people and she will be missed by all who got to know her. As her mother used to say "It's a dog's life". As per Rosella's wishes, a small gathering will be held (TBA) to raise a glass of wine and to celebrate her long, happy and fulfilling life. In lieu of flowers please give to the organization of your choice, lend a hand to someone in need or help protect endangered or abandoned species.
