Rosemarie Kimes

Rosemarie "Nanoo" Kimes (née Smith), of West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025. Born on May 18, 1937, in Wilmington, Delaware, she lived a full and vibrant life marked by devotion to her family and a flair for style and grace.

Over the years, Rosemarie built a diverse and fulfilling career. She worked in retail and real estate before concluding her professional journey as the receptionist at the law firm MacElree Harvey, Ltd. in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Her warm presence and professionalism left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike.

Rosemarie was a devoted wife to her husband of 69 years, Paul Kimes. Together they raised four daughters: Lisa Conlon, Michelle Davis, Lorraine Mueller, and Leslie McNamee. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren-Emily Rose Basile, AJ Davis, Kelly McNamee, Derek Mueller, and Stacey Hubbard-and her eleven great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.

She is also survived by her sister Sunny Steptoe of Wilmington, Delaware.

Known affectionately as "Nanoo," Rosemarie cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had an innate sense of style that was evident in everything she did from decorating her home with elegance to expressing herself through fashion. Her love for dancing added rhythm and joy to many moments throughout her life.
