To the sisters of Rosemary, Bea and Bridget, it is with sadness that I am sending this message. My heart weep with you also, amount of time does not define the kindness or warm felt in my heart that I have for you two. I know this is not easy and time will not heal you quickly. Rosemary was a true statue of a woman, her spirit will live always. She conquered whatever she set out to do, a gentle soul with a big heart, a protector and guidance of many. Rosemary will surly be missed and I will forever keep you 2 in my heart and prayers. It was such a pleasure talking, laughing and just enjoying her company. I saw then Bea what you and Bridget had shared a lifetime....the sparkle in her eyes as she spoke, the authority in her words as she spoke, the steadiness in her statue. She will be truly missed....Thank you for the time and thought that you given to me and our company. Paths cross for so many different reasons and not only am I glad, but honored and blessed to have met and shared time and space with 3 remarkable Ladies. My God keep you in His care

On behalf of the Society of Air Force Nurses, please know we are mourning with you the death of our friend and colleague, Colonel Rosemary Bauer. She was a remarkable woman who made a difference in the lives of so many on her journey through life. She was a long standing member of the Society and was a co-founder of the Nightingale Chapter in Illinois. SAFN will be making a donation in her memory as suggested. Rosemary will most definitely be missed, and she will not be forgotten by the community of Air Force nurses. Linda J. Stierle, Brigadier General, USAF (Retired)
